That said, I want to comment on Sara’s statement about people being less than excited to hang out together. I’ve been experiencing that here too. I feel too busy to do things that I know I would enjoy. I skip things that I normally would be quite excited about doing. I dunno what it is. Maybe it’s the weather? I DO have the holiday spirit, I think, but you wouldn’t know it by my actions as of late…

But Next Year. Oh, Next Year. We will be Portlanders then, and come wind or high seas, we must come together and sing Christmas songs to strangers. Oh, yes.

I was glad we hung out later and watched that movie – that was really great. It made me feel like we still got some good quality friend-time in.

I’m so confused as to why people weren’t excited. Didn’t we have fun last year? I know at first we were all hesitant and reluctant, but I thought that by the end, we were all having a blast. I figured this year would be huge. I haven’t the faintest idea as to why no one wanted to do it.

I feel like people have been especially unexcited about hanging out lately. Has there been some shift in the social dynamic I’m unaware of? Are we all just growing apart? I really hope not . . .

And man, is he handsome too!
